The latest Tweets from Mac Karlekar (@mackarlekar). Worked with Big4 Strategy, Digital & Tech giants. Ran own business. Many of you reached out yesterday to find out about the incident and express surprise on why I have started this fund raising campaign rather than hoping all those involved are punished. Twitter may be over capacity.

This course will help to make your transition as smooth and as seamless as possible. We'll begin with a discussion about the reasons to switch to Word 2011 before we take a tour of the new and improved fluent user interface, examining the ribbon and keyboard shortcuts.

We'll explore compatibility, and how you'll be able to work better with users of Word for Windows. And we'll look at how some of the common features you may have used in Word 2008 have changed in Word 2011. For the most part, these changes are either totally new or greatly improved. So with all these topics to cover, it's time to get started. Practice while you learn with exercise files.

Despite the leagues’ head-in-sand denial of Mount Obvious, the NFL’s very bad horrible week is getting worse. The backlash is strong, and individual organizations are trying to lessen the financial losses while simultaneously league officials try to keep up the unity appearance.

Before getting to the stats of ticket sales, check out this video from CNN. I haven’t watched very-fake-news CNN for a few months other than YouTube snippets; but obviously they are facilitating the anti-Trump aspect to the NFL position.

This exchange between Spike Lee and a Gold Star family is quite remarkable and shows the inherent disconnect. Just below the initial surface Mr.

Lee appears filled with the same race-based rage and hatred expressed by protesting NFL players. Lee tries to obfuscate the NFL protests by saying the anti-American kneelers are not protesting the flag. However, Colin Kaepernick, the originator of the protests, specifically said the protests were and everything the U.S.A.

The disingenuous Spike Lee claims to the contrary are silly and hollow. Now to the ticket stats The National Football League is feeling the impact of the “Trump Effect.” Ticket sales since he called on team owners to fire players who take a knee to protest the National Anthem have cratered. The online ticket reseller TickPick told Secrets that sales have dropped 17.9 percent, far more than the usual Week Three fall. From TickPick: 17.9 percent decrease in NFL orders this week compared to the previous week. Last year the drop was 10.8 percent in orders on Monday & Tuesday following Week Three games. “We have seen a massive decrease in NFL ticket purchases this past week in comparison to years past.

Week 3 seems to usually have less ticket orders than week 2, but this year ticket purchases are down more than 7 percent from this time last year,” said TickPick’s Jack Slingland. My own interest in this is simply from the position of measuring the sense of the electorate and the level of expressed frustration by looking at the outcomes.

(I quit watching the NFL back in 2015 when this nonsense began) Trying to make this into an NFL -vs- Trump issue is not going to help the football league’s collapsing business model. There really is no viable exit from the position the NFL has put themselves in.

Short of an honest apology and reaching out to the President, which they are incapable of doing, and against the reality of 60% of Americans disagreeing with the NFL position, their business will remain in an inescapable spiral until they exhaust their own capital reserves. The virtue-signaling NFL executives are now facing a diminished level of fan support and financial loss that will forever impact the league (and the players therein). However, it’s the individual team owners, or partnerships, who ultimately will bear the brunt of the financial collapse. There is no doubt the level of fan support has already been severely impacted. The only issue is at what point does the quantification of loss stabilize so that financial losses can be measured. The preliminary data is beginning to show the drops, but the silent majority are where the real determinations will be evidenced.

TV ratings and game attendance. In the interim, a few teams are trying to have it both ways.

The Denver Broncos now say they will stand for the National Anthem, yet their presser calls for social justice unity. Stupid is, as stupid does. What Vick did to those dogs should have put him in jail for life. He stuck jumper cables attached to car batteries on the dogs ears and shocked them, tortured them, then tossed those dogs in a pool and drowned them. That wasn’t the only thing he did, there was even worse things.

I’m not sure how anyone could hire that monster and to allow him to make millions, it makes me sick. The Steelers lost a lot of fans when they hired that monster. I can only hope that Vicks children are shown the videos of what their father did and what kind of monster he really is. I have been a serious Broncos fan for a while.

Dropping my interest in them and the entire NFL is very hard to do, yet it must be done and it is the LEAST I can do. I cant just ignore what is happening in this country and around the world. Denver Broncos – You are fired. Get out of my life and out of my mind, like the rest of the NFL. BTW – That “appeasement” apology letter is just as insulting and chicken shit as the kneeling is. Standing together regarding an issue doesnt really mean a damn thing if you dont actually DO something to help fix the issue. Apologies to Derek Wolfe.

I became curious about Rush and checked Wikipedia, otherwise don’t know anything about him. Rush apparently played football in high school. Went to check on the wife that Gil mentioned.

Probably not wife, but Rush’s former girlfriend Kagan “After KTVK did not renew Kagan’s contract,5 Jim Walton, the head of CNN/SI, hired Kagan as sports anchor and correspondent. She went on to cover events that included the Super Bowl, the NBA Playoffs, and international figure skating championships from Russia. Kagan was later hired from CNN Sports by CNN’s news division and became a main CNN news anchor and correspondent.” Like.

From Packer land here. Thanks for reading. Have a nice night. This is the big game(s) of the year – Bears-Packers tonight.

I have a US flag fall picture in my display case and not my Packer flag. Will neighbors notice? Will passing people notice the difference? But how will recent events change the big game following and will Packers follow through with the linking arms together tonight in a “Unified Protest”. They are doing a unified protest not a protest to unify. There is a major difference. Trying to read mood changes.

Grocery shopping before game – only two packer wearing people in store. Liquor store still of course has their packer flag displaying just below US flag. It is business. Two sports bars near me. I may check them during game time.

Bottom line: 1) The NFL is now controlled by Black Lives Matter. 2) The owners are now controlled by Black Lives Matter. 3) The majority black players have taken charge of the NFL at this point. 4) It is no longer America NFL football. It is now BLM football.

Contract Express On Twitter: @suzanneleclair Word For Mac

And they will do whatever they want. 5) NFL will lose a lot of white patriotic viewers pretty quickly and also some black patriots as well. But the white patriots will flee quickly and be gone for a long long time. I am gone for good and on to other things. NFL leaders and owners have maybe 2-3 weeks to get this fixed or they lost it all to BLM control.

–Coming later – Officials and NFL rules committee will be controlled by BLM – meaning they can break rules and not get called on it. In particular I am referring to game day uniform rules as required by league rules. And officials calling things during the game. NFL was not racist years ago but now it is the Black racist football league. They will turn it into ghetto ball.

Like NBA has become. And white owners will be afraid of the players using the race card against them. I say totally end NFL, NBA, MLB. I do not need them at all, They just add to my local sales taxes – stadium building taxes that never end. And for sure totally end all local tax breaks the above three always get to build their stadiums. I think you are on to something about Race and Politics overwhelming and controlling Sports.

Wasn’t it a year or so ago when Missouri or some other college had their black players threaten to not take the field unless their incoherent demands were met? I think fear of this kind of Revolt is what has NFL Owners linking arms with their Athletically-Gifted and mostly Intellectually-Challenged Employees. Funny that, in some respects, we haven’t been allowed to move that far from Reconstruction, have we? Black football players at the University of Missouri threatened to quit the team unless the chancellor and president were fired over what they perceived were racial insensitivity toward issues on campus. The university capitulated and both men resigned, believe it or not.

As a result, their freshman enrollment for the next year tanked and has still not recovered, alumni were furious and their donations tanked. They have had to close buildings that used to house students and now try to rent them out to out of town visitors. Enrollment is at the lowest it has been since 2008, with decreases in all classes, as well as foreign students. For a little of what University of Missouri “teaches”, here’s an excerpt (thanks to Discover the Networks): Please have a look at some of the courses, and the instructors. This is what our tax dollars are paying for. Citizenship and American Exceptionalism, or even American History have NOTHING to do with what they’re “teaching” Here’s a bit from “womens’ studies”: Mission Statement “The Women’s and Gender Studies Program at the University of Missouri is committed to the interdisciplinary, feminist study of the social, cultural, and historical processes that gender human identity. Central to the program’s mission is the conviction that the study of cultures, knowledges, and representations cannot be separated from the study of women and gender, and that gender and sexuality are fundamental categories of analysis in all disciplines.

In recognizing that the construction of these categories is contingent on time and place, the program stresses scholarship and teaching that are broadly comparative and range across multiple cultures, national and transnational contexts, and historical moments. Its faculty employ a broad range of theoretical approaches and methods that help students to integrate women’s, gender, and/or queer studies with analyses of race, ethnicity, religion, spirituality, nationality, and class, and to think critically and synthetically about the multiple axes of power through which sexual and gendered identities are constructed.

Courses encourage students to analyze the world in which they live, in order that they might act to transform it.” – Makes me want to retch. How much does this crud cost per unit????? “5) NFL will lose a lot of white patriotic viewers pretty quickly and also some black patriots as well.” How many ‘black patriots’ are there to lose?

93% to 95% of blacks voted for the Hussein, the most treasonous, America-hating, radical Leftist (anti-Christian, pro-islam) to ever get anywhere near the WH. That is an astonishing percentage, no matter how you look at it. That was 2008 and 2012.

Here is yesterday: Low Energy!: President Trump Says NFL Owners Are ‘Afraid of Their Players’ “Ninety-four percent of the black voters in a Quinnipiac University poll published Wednesday said they believed Trump is not fit to serve as president. About the same number — 95 percent — said they did not approve of the way he is handling race relations.”. I have never been and never will be a PC person.

For many decades people have come to me to hear my low down truthful opinion on something. I am not changing. I am a pure scientist and emotions have no bearing on any analysis I do. Gather data, analyze, conclude, gather more data, see if analysis changes. My feelings have nothing to do with anything. My brother recently asked me how to talk to liberal to try to get your point of view across. 1) I first said you need to discover if they have any logic ability or reasoning ability left.

Or are they now pure emotion driven and can not longer listen to anything. 2) Ask where they get their news or information if any. 3) If you determine they have no reasoning left, then abandon. You cannot talk to an totally emotional person. 4) If you want to try an open.

Try “how do you think I feel when such and such happens.” Try to relate it to local day to day and person effects. As I said on earlier thread, I doubt any team will come up with a more ‘din du niffin’ SJW-PC-snowflaky statement than the Broncos. I truly did not expect this BS from them, thinking surely our state had not succumbed to that racist falsehood. This has always been a ‘can do’ state.

Sadly the infiltration of lefties, techies & urbanists has blotted out our Pioneer Spirit. Someone suggested we find replays of games from years gone by or switch to hockey. I’m going to do both. I’ve watched the last of my orange & blue. On Monday during the Dallas game we went out to eat.

The restaurant has a big bar and is always packed for football. There were about 12 to 15 people TOTAL.

It seemed only 1 table was really watching the game. Imagine all of that trickle down.

The alcohol companies not selling product, the restaurant not making sales, the food distributors. Think of all the businesses like buffalo wild wings that rely on football and all of the merchandise, not nfl gear, but football party supplies, tailgate supplies, etc.

I had that discussion with a black coworker already. She tried to explain that it wasn’t against the flag or the country.

But she couldn’t answer “why specifically when the flag is out and when the anthem is playing?” There are and have been lots of other ways including “hands up don’t shoot.” Sure, it’s a lie, but it is a symbolic gesture which PERFECTLY expresses their sentiment and cause. The fact is they do hate the US of America. This is where leftist politics have been leading them. And now that they are losing their riches and fortunes and the money is going to run out? Now they are lying in pretty stupid form. That is the memo the BLM and BLM controlled owners have been putting out.

“It is not about disrespect for the flag or America or military. We respect the military.” But then why cannot they stand and show respect for the country?

They cannot answer that. Actions versus words. Their actions show that their words are all lies. Then why not show your respect for the flag and America and military. Stand proudly in support of America and do your protest somewhere else outside the football stadium. These are the same people that think it is OK to burn the US flag and then will say it is not about the country. We have a right to burn the flag because we do not like Trump.

They hate the USA like a baby throwing a tantrum hates his/her parents who said they needed to take a bath or go to bed. It’s really just a selfish, childish tantrum by immature people being manipulated through a false narrative. They can’t explain themselves or their actions rationally, because it’s all a lie and nothing more than an infantile tantrum. The fact that the NFL is doubling down on this BS is 1000% proven by the fact that the same kind of tantrum or even a positive gesture, like giving honor to God, in an end zone after a touch down would absolutely get a hefty fine. Spike Lee is a liar and an arrogant turd. Lets say this one last time for all the world to hear. YOU are disrespecting the Flag, the Men and Women who serve, and the United States of America!

JUST because you say you’re not doesn’t change any part of this. To tell these parents that what they know to be true is wrong is ridiculous. These players, coaches and the League itself ARE BEING DISRESPECTFUL.

There is no other way to look at this! No other way to see this! And absolutely no other way interpret this act! IT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING! And now they are calling you a fool for not understanding STUPID!

NFL players, coaches and owners love statistics so here’s some for them to read, digest and realize how foolish and misdirected the “disrespect” protests are: I thought you might be interested in this story from the New York Post. The FBI released its official crime tally for 2016 on Monday, and the data flies in the face of the rhetoric that professional athletes rehearsed in revived Black Lives Matter protests over the weekend. Nearly 900 additional blacks were killed in 2016 compared with 2015, bringing the black homicide-victim total to 7,881. Those 7,881 “black bodies,” in the parlance of Ta-Nehisi Coates, are 1,305 more than the number of white victims (which in this case includes most Hispanics) for the same period, though blacks are only 13 percent of the nation’s population.

The increase in black homicide deaths last year comes on top of a previous 900-victim increase between 2014 and 2015. Who is killing these black victims? Not whites, and not the police, but other blacks. In 2016, the police fatally shot 233 blacks, the vast majority armed and dangerous, according to The Washington Post. The paper categorized only 16 black male victims of police shootings as “unarmed.” That classification masks assaults against officers and violent resistance to arrest. Contrary to the Black Lives Matter narrative, the police have much more to fear from black males than black males have to fear from the police. In 2015, a police officer was 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male was to be killed by a police officer.

Black males have made up 42 percent of all cop-killers over the last decade, though they are only 6 percent of the population. That 18.5 ratio undoubtedly worsened in 2016, in light of the 53 percent increase in gun murders of officers — committed vastly and disproportionately by black males. Among all homicide suspects whose race was known, white killers of blacks numbered only 243. Violent crime has now risen by a significant amount for two consecutive years. The total number of violent crimes rose 4.1 percent in 2016, and estimated homicides rose 8.6 percent.

In 2015, violent crime rose by nearly 4 percent and estimated homicides by nearly 11 percent. The last time violence rose two years in a row was 2005–06. The reason for the current increase is what I have called the Ferguson Effect. Cops are backing off of proactive policing in high-crime minority neighborhoods, and criminals are becoming emboldened. Having been told incessantly by politicians, the media and Black Lives Matter activists that they are bigoted for getting out of their cars and questioning someone loitering on a known drug corner at 2 a.m., many officers are instead just driving. Such stops are discretionary; cops don’t have to make them.

And when political elites demonize the police for just such proactive policing, we shouldn’t be surprised when cops get the message and do less of it. Seventy-two percent of the nation’s officers say that they and their colleagues are now less willing to stop and question suspicious persons, according to a Pew Research poll released in January 2017. The reason is the persistent anti-cop climate.

Four studies came out in 2016 alone rebutting the charge that police shootings are racially biased. If there is a bias in police shootings, it works in favor of blacks and against whites. That truth has not stopped the ongoing demonization of the police — including, now, by many of the country’s ignorant professional athletes. The toll will be felt, as always, in the inner city, by the thousands of law-abiding people there who desperately want more police protection.

From City Journal, where Heather Mac Donald is a contributing editor. For more from the New York Post and to download our apps, visit NYPost.com. Please read this letter. In my opinion, it is the best response to NFL so far.

I don’t know who wrote it, someone posted it in the comment section on a CBS Boston Patriots article, (that person didn’t write it either) Dear NFL player: You graduated in 2011. Your teenage years were a struggle. You grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Your mother was the leader of the family and worked tirelessly to keep a roof over your head and food on your plate Academics were a struggle for you and your grades were mediocre at best. The only thing that made you stand out is you weighed 225 lbs and could run 40 yards in 4.2 seconds while carrying a football.

Your best friend was just like you, except he didn’t play football. Instead of going to football practice after school, he went to work at McDonalds for minimum wage. You were recruited by all the big colleges and spent every weekend of your senior year making visits to universities where coaches and boosters tried to convince you their school was best.

They laid out the red carpet for you. Your best friend worked double shifts at Mickey D’s. College was not an option for him. On the day you signed with Big State University, your best friend signed paperwork with his Army recruiter.

You went to summer workouts. He went to basic training. You spent the next four years living in the athletic dorm, eating at the training table.

You spent your Saturdays on the football field, cheered on by adoring fans. Tutors attended to your every academic need. You attended class when you felt like it. Sure, you worked hard.

You lifted weights, ran sprints, studied plays, and soon became one of the top football players in the country. Your best friend was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. While you were in college, he deployed to Iraq once and Afghanistan twice. He became a Sergeant and led a squad of 19 year old soldiers who grew up just like he did.

He shed his blood in Afghanistan and watched young American men give their lives, limbs, and innocence for the USA. You went to the NFL combine and scored off the charts. You hired an agent and waited for draft day. You were drafted in the first round and your agent immediately went to work, ensuring that you received the most money possible. You signed for $16 million although you had never played a single down of professional football. Your best friend re-enlisted in the Army for four more years.

As a combat tested sergeant, he will be paid $32,000 per year. You will drive a Ferrari on the streets of South Beach. He will ride in the back of a Blackhawk helicopter with 10 other combat loaded soldiers. You will sleep at the Ritz.

He will dig a hole in the ground and try to sleep. You will “make it rain” in the club. He will pray for rain as the temperature reaches 120 degrees.

On Sunday, you will run into a stadium as tens of thousands of fans cheer and yell your name. For your best friend, there is little difference between Sunday and any other day of the week.

There are no adoring fans. There are only people trying to kill him and his soldiers.

Every now and then, he and his soldiers leave the front lines and “go to the rear” to rest. He might be lucky enough to catch an NFL game on TV. When the National Anthem plays and you take a knee, he will jump to his feet and salute the television. While you protest the unfairness of life in the United States, he will give thanks to God that he has the honor of defending his great country.

To the players of the NFL: We are the people who buy your tickets, watch you on TV, and wear your jerseys. We anxiously wait for Sundays so we can cheer for you and marvel at your athleticism. Although we love to watch you play, we care little about your opinions until you offend us. You have the absolute right to express yourselves, but we have the absolute right to boycott you. We have tolerated your drug use and DUIs, your domestic violence, and your vulgar displays of wealth. We should be ashamed for putting our admiration of your physical skills before what is morally right. But now you have gone too far You have insulted our flag, our country, our soldiers, our police officers, and our veterans.

Anytime you see Anderson poopersCooper and Stupid Lee together, you know it’s gonna be a giant lie fest by lying liars who lie. If they’re not protesting/disrespecting the flag and our nation, why are they kneeling for presentation of the colors (aka, the flag) and for the national anthem? Actions are, in this case, louder than words.

And yes, until they discovered that they would be called on how despicable their actions are, they did say it was a protest against the flag and the nation that has provided all the opportunity they’ve taken advantage of. Only now, they want to back pedal, but they don’t quit doing it. The whole thing is founded on a lie and a massive, unbelievably idiotic, mass-hysteria eruption of “anachronistic fallacy.” Slavery and Jim Crow are dead and gone in the USA, because of what the USA and its majority Judeo-Christian white population stood and stand for. The great divide in the USA today is between those who take responsibility for themselves and those who don’t, but instead blame others for their problems. Today, black America’s problems are black America’s problems and no one else’s. There is no mistaking who these people are or what they represent: a coordinated and well-funded attack against our Constitutional Republic.

They kneel and lock arms in defiance of our American flag and those who died to protect their liberties. Their brothers-in-arms are not the US soldiers dying on foreign soil.

They sympathize instead with violent BLM and Antifa thugs who riot like animals and burn our flag and our cities. They have no respect for our Constitution, our laws or our President. They should be shunned and humiliated for insulting their fans and the country. Our money is much better spent on other pursuits.

NFL owners have been playing stupid games for decades, and just now, finally getting their well-deserved stupid prizes. I lost my passion for pro football at least a decade ago, due to the criminal behavior mentioned. The NFL owners did whatever was necessary to get their thugs out of trouble. Instead of setting a high bar, they hired top line lawyers to clean up after their players, and clever PR teams to manage their “role models”. Of course the lefty MSM played along. Seems all this condoning and fixing set the stage for the current situation, owners all boxed in and trying to lie their way out.

They sure didn’t bargain on Trump — or the righteous patriots in the stands! The basic problem is that the entertainers have decided that their world view should lead the country.

Vaudevillians never thought that. Nor did the actors at the Globe theater. Never have the people whose talent is performance art (I use that broadly) think of themselves as change agents using their ‘platform’ to move this country Forward.

Most news people are now performance artists (think Shep Smith) in the infotainment industrythen of course there’s Hollywoodand so naturally we now have performers in the NFL using their ‘platform’.of course that platform was built by the hard work of the taxpayers. Pols (another form of performance art) are basically flimflam artists who use OPM to help the self-dealing sports enterprises the big bucks they want. Without the taxpayers, they are nothing. We need a massive reset on the value of sports performers across the board. A reset to where a franchise can be an independent businesswith no tax help at all. That would cut their salaries bigly Liked.

The only redemption scenario that I can see here is: whichever players were AGAINST this crap from the beginning, just come out and state it, boldly. (Forget about the ones who say “I’m sorry, changed my mind”. No going back here) None of the owners (that I know of, could be wrong) came out against it. So they’re gone. Ditch the knee takers, arm holders and owners, coaches, etc. Who supported this.

Keep the rest and start new teams with the people haven’t injected politics and foolishness into sports. Otherwise, just ditch the whole dang thing, wholesale. Americans can surely find other ways to spend their time and money than being used by these SJWs. A former football-watching relative has another theory/prediction about how this is going to turn out. He said that this is going to change the culture of high schools and colleges, where athletes are often given preferential treatment, even if their scholastics are a failure and their behavior verges on criminal. So that’s one thing.

And then, a lot of the universities who have support only because the majority population loves and supports their sports teams are going to find $$$ DRYING UP. And since colleges and universities are overwhelmingly leftist they will have to straighten up and fly (slightly more) right We’ll see. PJT, what a show. Have I mentioned that I love my Prez? More every day? September 2017 M T W T F S S.
